The Valley of the Sun is a bustling, dynamic place to call home. As one of the fastest growing cities in the country, Phoenix is booming with culture and commerce. The most affluent areas of Phoenix can be found in our neck of the woods, the Northeast Valley. Most of our listings are located in the Town of Paradise Valley, which consists largely of estate-sized properties and million-dollar homes. Very little of Paradise Valley remains undeveloped; in contrast, new projects continue to arise in adjacent Scottsdale, where real estate options range from high-rise condos to custom-built estates. Most buyers are drawn to these areas for their upscale lifestyle, high value of homes and the prestige that comes with them.
For those who like to live where they work and play, the North Central and historic districts in and around the Downtown Phoenix fit the bill nicely. Homes range from cozy bungalows to grand-scale estates and everything in between. Although there are a few pockets of newer developments in these areas, older homes ripe with character are the rule. In addition to the fabulous location, homebuyers are often drawn to these areas by the architectural diversity, a strong sense of community and trees that began to grow long before Arizona became a state.
The Northwest Valley, which offers a combination of established neighborhoods, new developments and large master-planned communities, is often seen as ideally suited for families and retirees. Suburban areas such as Glendale and Peoria are best known for their hallmark attractions – the University of Phoenix Stadium, Peoria Sports Complex and Lake Pleasant, to name a few. The retirement communities of Sun City are also a highlight of the area.
Some of the most affordable homes in the Valley can be found in the suburbs of Avondale, Litchfield and Goodyear. While quiet traditional neighborhoods, pockets of farmland and industrial and commercial developments account for much of what most consider the Southwest Valley, master-planned communities such as Estrella Mountain Ranch offer world-class golf and high-end amenities, and both Avondale and Goodyear extend far south to include Estrella Mountain Regional Park, plus miles of open desert.
